It’s a sad fact that tenants aren’t always as careful with the properties they rent as they might be as owners. Recognising this, landlords and their agents often seek to protect their investments and interests by commissioning inspections during the course of a tenancy.
Such inspections also put tenant on notice that the condition of the property is being closely monitored, and so they tend to take more care, in order to protect their deposit.
Such inspections are normally carried out every six months, using a set template (or a modified one, if a client has special requirements) to report potential issues with the condition of a property that may or may not have been highlighted by tenants in residence.
Although they do not include a full inventory, they do include photographs of each room and any areas that require special attention.
Inspection reports are provided within 24 hours of the inspection taking place, providing clients with a fast, efficient service.
